Lake Nkuruba Nature Reserve
18 km from Fort Portal (Uganda) on the Rwaihamba Road

The Enfuzi Community Campsite is a family run business and it is owned by Bishop John Bosco.

The Campsite is set on the forested rim of a volcanic crater lake in the lush Rwenzori foothills at Lake Nkuruba. Join us and admire the lake’s abundant wildlife  and tranquil views while truly experiencing the vibrant local culture at one of Uganda’s most unique and exciting locations.

Four species of monkey are commonly seen at the campsite including Black and White Colobus and Red Tailed. We regularly host visitors tracking chimpanzees in the Kibale Forest National Park.

We organise guided tours and activities that include swimming in the Nkuruba Lake, chimpanzee tracking in the Kibale Forest National Park, hiking to the Muhoma Waterfalls, visits to villages and tours of the tea estates.
